Jill Lederman is a licensed social worker, meditation teacher and freelance writer living in Charleston, South Carolina. She receives inspiration from resilient clients, through their amazing life experiences, struggles and triumphs. Combining her journalism background with social work, Jill aspires to help narrate the stories of peoples lives, empowering them in the process. Jill works full-time in the mental health field, supporting social justice and human rights through various roles. She has worked in palliative care, college mental health, juvenile justice and child welfare, supportive employment and medical social work, to name a few. When she is not saving the world, she enjoys writing feature stories and exploring topics around psychology and spirituality.
